I've always kind of defended him for a variety of reasons.
Mainly A) He would be better if he played on the left, and B) He doesn't have the freedom of Bielsa ball.
But besides that his general quality is shocking.
Needs to go, just not working out for him at all here.

To be fair, it's just not working for most of our team these days. What could be the common denominator?

It's so common these days as well. How many players have their worst years of their careers with us? Black hole.

Can we please stop the 'he did x, y and z under Bielsa' argument, that team was set up in such a way it of course enabled him to perform with better stats, but it's not a true reflection of his actual ability.
That team conceded 79 goals I think it was and went down because everyone just piled forwards. It'd be a dream to play in as an attacker but it was completely flawed.
He's shit, if you play a very specific and unrealistic way then yes he'll have better stats, but no one should play that way because it doesn't work.
Joining us didn't turn Jack Harrison shit, he's always been shit.

No, because it’s a very relevant point and your point makes very little sense.
He had good numbers prior to joining us.
Why doesn’t he have good numbers now? Just because you’re in an “attacking team” doesn’t guarantee you’re going to get good numbers.
You still have to have the quality to produce.
I remember him at Leeds. Always seemed to be getting the ball on the left, in behind the defence, on the break.
Here he’s picking the ball up on the halfway line, no full back overlapping to create space, no one making a run in behind, no one wanting to link up
Him and ndyaie are being asked to do an impossible job.
He could still be better, but he’s out of position, playing in a team that doesn’t want the ball and doesn’t know how to attack.

Some players look so much better in one specific system and it's literally the only way they look good. It's the same as putting Tarkowski in a possession based team with a high line and going 'well he played well for Burnley so why's he crap now'.
The fact is that team created shit loads of opportunities to produce because of the crazy and unsustainable way they played. We don't and shouldn't play like that.
So your point about him producing for Leeds is correct, he did so because they played differently to how we did, and no we don't play good attacking football but that doesn't mean Harrison isn't absolutely shit. He's a player that can only be effective in a very specific system much like most of our players unfortunately, and we don't and won't nor should we ever play like Leeds did given they conceded a crazy number of goals and bombed out of the league. His stats at Leeds aren't a true reflection on his ability as a footballer, because he's an incredibly poor player unless the team plays in one specific and unsustainable way.

The people arguing dyche is the reason Jake Harrison is shit. Are you in favour of us signing him permanently in the summer. Give the new manager the opportunity to use his talents

No.
Simply arguing that a player who produced a good amount of goals and assists prior to coming to us is maybe capable of better that what’s he’s shown?
That’s all. Calm down.

No lol I wouldn't sign him if he won the lottery and offered to pay for himself.
But he's the worst, he's shite, he's useless, he can't do this, he can't do that...it's bullshit. It's actually bullshit.
He is shite that is true, but he is capable of much more than we've seen.
"Oh it's not a fair comparison the other manager used him better"

So we're all agreed he's shit, we're just arguing about what consistency he is on the Bristol chart then?

Totally fair. Mykolenko, tarkowski, o Neil, branthwaite doucoure and dcl all either played their best football under dyche or had the career revived by him

No, he’s an average to decent premier league wide player.
In a good system he can produce good numbers.
In a system that has your wide midfields as full backs and just relies on set pieces and moments of magic for goals, he’s not good enough to produce.
Bryan Mbuemo would struggle to hit five goals in this system.

I think we all agree that Harrison is shit, in the position he plays for us, which is not where he’s had success, he’s best suited to left, and with a full back that can overlap, in his time with us he’s had neither. If we’re playing with big forwards, which all four of ours are, then we need a right footer on the right and a lefty on the left, pretty simple really.

I agree with this, but think it's not necessarily lack of quality, but much more lack of confidence and partly being played out of position in a very different role that he's not suited to.
Technically and tactically he's actually pretty good, he's shown it, but he's having a shocker and I think it's weighing down heavily on him at the moment.
