Sure I read with football inflation the 105m would be about 240m now.
The new start for the NSNO Everton forums
https://www.nsno.co.uk/
This is the loophole I’m pinning my hopes on for it to be quashed, I’m sure the super Silk is going to rip the whole process to shreds.
Its not even my opinion tbh. I don't know what I think anymore. I was just arguing the point because I wanted to try and get a discussion going over what was and wasn't a fair punishment and why to pass the time. Sorry!superpull wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:25 pm Lads, this isn't a legal or accounting contract where there might be loopholes or contradictory legislation.
We've not brought a KC on to pore over caselaw.
The rules at the start of each season were the rules we agreed to and then broke.
Our entire game plan here is to have got someone in who can say "10 points? That seems a bit harsh lads" in a much more eloquent way.
And @Goaljira , I was engaging in good faith thinking you had a counter-opinion. But that's border line conspiracy theory. Whilst I agree that may be the *effect* of the rules, it is not their stated purpose.
Look fine. BUT is it totally legal? Is it fair? Is it truly a fit and proper contract in this day and age?Gary1878 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 5:34 pm If you read the PL Handbook under section w50, 'Commission's Powers, they have an absolutely unlimited remit of what action they can take. Note, point W.51.10.
W.51. Having heard and considered such mitigating factors (if any) the Commission may:
W.51.1. reprimand the Respondent;
W.51.2. impose upon the Respondent a fine unlimited in amount and suspend any
part thereof;
W.51.3. in the case of a Respondent who is a Manager, Match Official, Official or
Player, suspend them from operating as such for such period as it shall
think fit;
W.51.4. in the case of a Respondent which is a Club:
W.51.4.1. suspend it from playing in League Matches or any matches in
competitions which form part of the Games Programmes or
Professional Development Leagues (as those terms are defined
in the Youth Development Rules) for such period as it thinks fit;
W.51.4.2. deduct points scored or to be scored in League Matches or such
other matches as are referred to in Rule W.51.4.1;
W.51.4.3. recommend that the Board orders that a League Match or such
other match as is referred to in Rule W.51.4.1 be replayed; and/
or
W.51.4.4. recommend that the League expels the Respondent from
membership in accordance with the provisions of Rule B.6;
W.51.5. order the Respondent to pay compensation unlimited in amount to any
Person or to any Club (or club);
W.51.6. cancel or refuse the registration of a Player registered or attempted to be
registered in contravention of these Rules;
W.51.7. impose upon the Respondent any combination of the foregoing or such
other penalty as it shall think fit;
W.51.8. make any such penalty conditional, including imposing the penalty unless
a defined action is taken by the Respondent within a defined period of
time;
W.51.9. order the Respondent to pay such sum by way of costs as it shall think fit
which may include the fees and expenses of members of the Commission;
and/or
W.51.10. make such other order as it thinks fit.

Disgrace. It's almost more of a slap in the face if it's only 2 points back.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:17 pm Carragher saying he thinks we're getting 2/3 points back, sounding suspiciously like Sky probably know what's happening.
I mean I'm guessing and could be wrong. He might've just seen that tweet that said we're getting 2 point back, which may/may not be a wind up.
Yeah that's exactly what I thought, they already know.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:17 pm Carragher saying he thinks we're getting 2/3 points back, sounding suspiciously like Sky probably know what's happening.
