Neville said something similar yesterday.

I’m assuming they’ve all been briefed on what’s happening.

I’d take it tbh. Could be the difference in us staying up.

I'd be surprised if nobody knows yet. I think it'll be released tomorrow. They didn't want a 90 minutes MNF build-up followed by a match at Goodison immediately after announcing the decision. We don't play at home for two weeks now and not on TV until the week after that away to Man United where nobody will give a shit.

It's been carefully orchestrated.

8pts for the first, with 4 for the second and Forest getting the same 8 we got for the first keeps us alive.

Doesn't quite work like that though I'd imagine.

I'd imagine whatever the outcome of our first appeal dictates the maximum outcome for the 2nd.

For example, if we get 3 back, they may then rubber stamp it as 7 points being the max, at least then its set in stone what you can expect rather than them just winging it.

Who knows though. Wouldn't put anything past them.

So it would seem reading that Forest were £17.5m over if the sale of Johnson was the reason they didn't meet PSR, as otherwise the argument of holding on for more money is irrelevant.

If that's the case they'll receive a lower deduction than us for £19.5m you'd imagine, or at worst more or less the same.

And we have another charge where we're potentially going to be docked points.

So I kinda feel no matter what we're fucked, because Forest losing points isn't much of an advantage to us if it's less than we had taken off, and we get even more taken off too.

It's hard to know, because I've seen other things saying Forest were absolute miles over - like £60-70m over. So I'm not sure.

Yeah if they're that far over the excuse of selling Johnson late is pretty null and void.

If they really were only £17.5m over I'd have some sympathy as PSR would basically be working in the opposite way it's supposed to given the club would have been worse off financially by obeying rules supposed to protect them from financial mismanagement.

I know we argued this with the Richarlison sale but I'm not convinced anyone was ever going to pay us £80m for him.

You'd hope so wouldn't you, season's over in 3 months. Really need this outcome this week to see what we're working with. Saying that, with the potential second charge then who knows what's going to happen. They've only got 3 months in which to sort that out as well.

I was hoping this morning. Got SSN on waiting for an announcement, and I can't take much more of Steve Howey talking about Man City who I don't remember him playing for.

Can't remember the last time I legitimately watched SSN.

I'd imagine it's even worse now with the klopp bumming.
