A big problem for Saka this season appears to be the lack of an overlapping full back. Last season Ben White was flying down the right, game after game, and he would buy Saka the space and option of going inside or outside, and he was devastating.

This season Arteta appears to be playing White as more of an inverted full back and Saka finds himself double marked out on the touchline a lot.

Classic case of Arteta overthinking things, and thinking that he's Pep.
