I'm more concerned with their abilities over money. We don't have a good record with rich people's money so far. I want someone who wants us as the club we are, the fans we have and wants to embrace us. A tall order but life long blues with rich backing is near that
And yet you’d prefer the bid from people who’ve never run a football club before? And I’m not sure the Vici bid had any blues involved

Question now is if Friedkin is granted exclusivity on Monday then how long does he need for due diligence before applying to the Premier League for approval and how long the PL need before granting approval, I would guess at least a month.
It’ll go on their “to do” pile right after charging Man City with something

I've no idea who's the best option. It's just a discussion on a forum.... stand down mate

So we are basicly being bought by a used car dealer
Interesting that Friedkin initially tried the Moshiri-esque route of let’s get in “proven winners” to get success, in Mourinho, Lukaka, Wijnaldum, but has now got Di Rossi in (I hope we go more down the Baines/Coleman avenue rather than Big Dunc if we follow suit) and an investment in young players and building for the long-term.
Doesn't really tell us anything we don't know but presume it must be quite close now?

Reports form Italy reporting that the deal is done
Dan Friedkin has completed the €650M takeover of Everton. The American owners of Roma have closed a deal to acquire a 94% stake. The takeover will also cover around €400M worth of the club’s debts

I think that's just lifted the Corriere dello Sport figures from yesterday.

What does 650m with 400 debt mean. He's paying moshiri the 250 obviously. Does that mean he's also committed to clearing another 400m of debt. Is that genuine debt we are paying interest on or is it what moshiri has lent us??
Where does this leave us debt wise?? Anyone got any clue
