I'd hate Arteta here, think he'd be a disaster.

Arteta for me, I wanted him at the time we got Ancelotti and he went to Arsenal at the same time. I know the Arsenal fans are moaning about him, but I wouldn’t make mind moaning if he does a similar job here. I reckon he’ll be available/ready for new challenge by the time Moyes goes too.
You off the meds again? Some wild posts lately

Arteta? Lol. Leave it out. The fella has spent over a billion and can't crack the league or CL.
His next job will probably be managing in Spain.

We’d be lucky to even be a consideration for him.

Not what happened. I appreciate some of the reactions have been… a lot - but he was largely culpable for that one.
And I'm ok with the latter.
The former is the same old stuff after any/every loss.

He’s done a great job there, billion quid over a 5 year period when transfer fees have gone insane. He may not have won anything yet, but he’s been so close the last three seasons, and but for injuries would probably have won the title last season.

If he's doing a great job at arsenal why would he end up at Everton. Might as well suggest we sign saka

Has he done a brilliant job?
Seems just another Pep graduate who thinks if he mimics his old boss he'll have success, but the parody act only gets people so far as they don't have the genuine genius to adapt it and change it when the situation demands something extra.
Spent a billion quid to be good but not good enough to achieve success, which is pretty damning imo. Dread to think what he'd do at a team with less resources and worse players.

All about opinions I guess.

Why are people even talking about Arteta?! I think there's a reality check needed around here. We are a mid-lower level Premiership team who are (hopefully) on an upwards trajectory. Even if Arteta was sacked and we were looking, there would be much bigger and more attractive suitors than ourselves.
Moyes will be here for a while yet, and do what he does best - help the team settle after years of torment.

And then Martinez is out of contract with Portugal in 2028 so can swoop in and take us to a different level…
