Belly laughs all the way through then had me welling up when he spoke about Howard Kendall.

I love audio books read by the people who have written them. It makes it feel more real, like they're telling you their story.
Duncan Ferguson talking with people - could listen to all day
Duncan Ferguson reading his own book - makes me want to rip my ears off
I genuinely sounds like he's reading these words for the first time. The publishers should have listened to the first chapter and then immediately got on the phone to Angus King to re-record it all.

I haven't bothered watching that much of all the media stuff Duncan is doing at the moment, I'm sure there's more to it but it's a bit boring just listening the the same stories about his red cards, bad behavior, burglars and general off field antics. Jimmy Bullard's made a fucking career out of telling that story. Says it all when the majority of times Evertonians talk about him or make a tribute video that's pretty much all it contains. It's a shame really, he could have been a fantastic player and he loves the club but like it or not he's loved more for the bad things he did than any of the good.
The bird was, in fact, more than it seemed. Created by a staff member at the stadium - some posit as long as 15 years ago - it was an object largely crafted from wire and left in the window frame all those years ago.
