He will get an extension if we are looking comfortable around January I reckon.

I don't like his football, he wasn't my choice, but I like how he's handled the never ending cycle of bullshit that swirls in the clouds around the club and won't go away. I like how he's used it as fuel but has largely kept it separate from the team.
And until the bullshit is fixed, he's what we need, and I'm actually thankful he's leading the team at a time when we have all of this going on.

Hope he figures out his best team sooner rather than later

Stats like that just make me think about the part of the season it all averages out and we go two months without a win

It looks better this season. There's two patches of 4 or 5 games each starting around December and April this season where we play the big boys as well as 6 pointers against Forest. Unlikely to have a run like last year due to a more variable spread.
And it won't matter anyway as we'll top the table by November's end.

Do have a weird feeling we will at one point be on for a European charge

Only takes a little positive variance with finishing for a Dyche team to be Europa quality.
Would also help to swerve additional point deductions and a colossal midseason skid.

Will make a nice change from the usual charges we get during the season.

Took Burnley to a 7th placed finish once upon a time. He's capable of pushing us toward a Europa Conference place.

I don’t think relegation will even be a worry.
Might find ourselves near the danger at parts of the season but we’ll be 13th or above for most of the season.
Having said that, every single manager we’ve had since Walter smith has had an appalling second season and usually finds themselves sacked.
So there is that like.
Oh and maybe another deduction
Oh and the takeover stuff. That really needs sorting .

From todays The Times
James Gheerbrant
Don’t ask me how but I think Everton will finish in the top half. I’m looking at the Everton squad now and there’s no one that I can envisage scoring more than ten goals. But the new signings Jake O’Brien and Iliman Ndiaye are perfect fits. They’ll ride a wave of Dyche magic and last-season-at-Goodison passion to finish eighth.

Not sure we could have picked a better man in football to be in charge of the club for the set of circumstances we have faced over the past season and a half. Most managers would have crumbled under the pressure.
I would not be surprised to see us in the top half come the end of the season. We will end up gathering points and wins from games where you will wonder how we ended up with a positive result after playing poorly.
It won't be pretty (again), and we won't have loads of possession (again), but we will be very solid and have enough quality at the top end of the pitch to deliver enough to see us comfortably mid-table, and as I said, perhaps top half.
Keeping Pickford, Tark and JB together is huge. We have deficiencies at RB and CM, but those 3 will win us plenty of points throughout the season. And I am confident we will score a fair few more this year. It won't be as bad as last season.

Yeah, we're not getting top half. Might, if we're lucky, have it slightly better than last season. Can't really see where this positivity has come from.
Can't pick ten who would finish below us. Seven at best (unless Man City cop punishment). 13th would be a very solid return.
Bournemouth
Brentford
Ipswich
Leicester
Forest
Southampton
Wolves
