Yeah I'm not sure what the problem is there.

Isn't he just saying if we're not playing well and winning, fans leave early because they expect more?

A lot of misinterpretations going on with that clip.

Shite to be in this position again. The knives are out first game of the season.
Some on here were calling for him to be sacked at 2pm when the team was announced. Don't know why they then pretend they appreciate the job he's done

In terms of what he said. Isn't that true. When you're losing fans leave early. We were losing and people were leaving

For me people just can't really accept what we've become. They still think we should have fancier and better even though we can't attract or pay for it.

If dyche doesn't see out the season here we get relegated. Partly because what it would take to sack him and partly because this squad can only dyche anyway

Those were my thoughts exactly, in other words he was saying what do you expect when we’re down to ten men, three goals down and ten minutes to play, try getting out of the ground and onto one of the buses at full time ! No issue with anyone needing to do so.

Nah, we'd just get Moyes and stay up. I know it's hard to believe but Dyche isn't the best manager in the world that we're fighting off the likes of Arsenal and Man City to keep.

Can only assume you watched very little of West Ham over the last two years of you think moyes is a good shout for us.

Didn’t he win a European trophy

Interpretations like but not sure why people find him unlikeable or arrogant. He isn't delusional, he's quite realistic. He's not an allardyce

I don't see it that way. Wish I did though

It's interpretation I suppose, I heard it more along the lines of, 'if we aren't winning you'll get fuck all support from this lot'

Yeah there's a little dig in there. It's not even a subtle one.

He did.

He did a good job there whilst being even more negative than Sean dyche with much better players.

He’s finished as a manager these days.

Will get ignored and we’ll keep hearing his name like we have done since he left.

As long as we don't extend his contract, there is no reason to do anything other than ride out this season with Dyche. He can't/won't take us forward progressively, but he can keep this oddball squad together and likely in the League. Which is all that is reasonably plausible THIS season.

Plus, you know. We'll have to pay him regardless.

Not having it. He's obviously the best manager in the world and I've obviously been saying that

I think people see basic football from an English manager as some sort of Brexit/EDL calling card. There have definitely been insinuations of racism from some on here. A bit of southern bias, too.

I don’t mind him and think I could have a good chat with him about music but I’ve got zero interest it what he’s saying in pressers. Think it’s perverse if you hate him and are religiously watching every interview/presser with him. You’re just fuelling your anger.

And I don’t think this is really about Dyche.

It’s because we’ve not won owt since ‘95. Because our neighbours are better than us. Because the Moshiri era was a false dawn, because the likes of Brighton and Bournemouth have better squads than us, etc.
