Supposedly as long as you don't outright stop then it's alright but Ronaldo blatantly did there and clearly they're not bothered

It feels karmic when the player misses the target after a stuttered run up.

Pros: Sadness for Ronaldo and Roberto

Cons: Having to watch another match involving France

After his heroics the other night Costa never got near one, went the wrong way on four of the five penalties.

That French side surely won't get near Spain

Yeah I mentioned this earlier in the tournament too, just doesn't seem to matter anymore... Pretty sure the rules outlaw it but I guess none of the refs are brave enough to implement it in such a big competition.

A lot is down to luck when it comes to saving penalties.

Probably helped his cause that Slovenia spent the whole match chasing the ball and were completely fucked by the time the shootout came.

France v England final then?

If they don't improve then England will go out tomorrow. Switzerland are a proper team and if they can smother and out-of-sorts Italian side then they can do the same tomorrow.
