The Lindstrom one against Villa is the most obvious foul you'll see from a push

The city 1 is the worst 1. Rodri handball. There's no excuse for that. It's not subjective. It could have relegated us. As it was it just cost The Shite the title so it's a great call with hindsight

That's the worst you will ever see.
That was someone that absolutely didn't want to give a penalty against city and came up with the flimsiest excuse that you will ever hear, something about the tee shirt line that was utter bollux, he leant into the ball and it hit him on the forearm.
I remember shearer calling them out on motd saying it was pathetic.
The var guy knew himself that he cheated, we knew that he cheated and city knew that he cheated.
Still we got a lovely apology off Webb and as you say it cost the shite the title

Think it was to keep the title battle close so there'd be larger audiences for the remaining games.

They’ve set the stall out early on what’s a handball then, I expect full consistency for the rest of the season, not some bullshit about not giving one against van Dijk because he was too close to the ball when someone shoots or that Saliba’s arm was in a natural position

PGMOL saying VAR shouldn’t have intervened on Fulham’s goal and the official has been stood down or the shite’s game. Bet Marco Silva feels much better now…

Nothing for the referee? He agreed with VAR, no?

Doesn’t mention the referee - odd considering it was his final decision!
VAR needs to stop looking for a reason to disallow a goal as that’s what it seems they do constantly

I suppose Webb didn’t say it wasn’t a foul, only that it wasn’t a high enough level for VAR to intervene. Seems to me there’s more controversy with VAR than there was without it!

Came here to understand that. Didnt see the overrule but surely the ref was asked to take a second look? PGMOL basically admitting VAR make the decisions there.

I've just posted the same on todays football thread.
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to do one and not the other.
They can't get anything right

They say they aren't but they really are re-refing the gam

Absolutely
They look at everything and anything that can get them involved, they're ruining the game
