Really a big shame for a player to keep on getting injuries as he has.
I expect if it's as bad as it looks he'll go back to Chelsea for continuing treatment. Even if it's not I can't imagine we can ever look to rely on him at this point.
Hope he gets a full recovery though.

Shame for the lad, good luck at your next club
Bye
Agreed, send him back if we can. Huge shame, but we need his premier league loan spot to get someone else in.

From the club Facebook page.
LB on Broja: "Obviously, it looked bad. He went off to the other side of the pitch. We weren’t sure if he’d go to hospital, or not, but he hasn’t.
"We don’t know the extent of it at the moment, other than it’s a lower-leg injury. He hasn’t been taken to hospital, so I’ve taken that as a good sign."
Thoughts with you, Armando
Bit strange after all the drama if he hasn't even gone to hospital.

I think I'd be sending him back to Chelsea 'as a precaution' and looking at a loan who can help asap

Great for Broja if he hasn't had to go to hospital. The question that then throws up is why all the histrionics every time he's tackled. Either way I think it best we plan for the rest of the season without him.

I couldn't really see anything in the tackle to warrant all the attention, there was nothing obvious.

It was his landing I think that caused the issue, may be mental for him as well though.

IIRC when players in the past did their Achilles they were sent home to rest for a few days until the bruising and inflammation subsides, and only then go to the hospital for surgery.

Those ones where you twist your ankle can feel like you’ve totally fucked your leg and then after a few hours it’s not that bad. Maybe it’s one of those. Was worth the gamble on the deal we got last minute. But could do with someone else on loan

Looked achilles-like to me. Hopefully not a rupture if so.

I thought that. From the replay it looked to me like his knee had twisted, but he was holding his leg much lower. Didn’t look like the ankle turned too much, so that’s why I thought maybe Achilles?
Either way, player reaction looked bad. Such a shame for him and for us. Is Beto our only fit striker now? Who have we got in the youth team?

It looked Achilles to me too, Just from where he was holding his leg.
This needs sorting out asap, it's brutal but he needs to go back to Chelsea if it's anything other than a minor injury.
We are not a rehab centre.

Yea, as with against Bournemouth, I wonder if his head's gone and he's catastrophising any knock he's getting (unintentionally).

My lad showed a me a video of it on the way back from the match and he landed and jarred his leg, think it may be ACL. But who knows
