Nice that the Tete came from nowhere. A couple of tentative links, but then straight to 'Here we go'.

Beto is basically the striker version of Bolasie
I don't agree that Beto's as bad as Bolaise but even if he was it's still not a valid point about signings. They were both signed under Moshiri's ownership, there's lots of signs at the club under TFG that those days are behind us and the club has a far more stable, professional and well organised structure about it.

I think I'll be happy with that as a free signing. Probably a v good free all told.

The Alcaraz loan in Jan also popped out of nowhere too.

This seems to be how the Friedkins conduct business so hopefully we get some good surprises this summer.

I’m watching the CWC - Pachuca vs Real Madrid. One S Rondon is leading the Pachuca line!

RM with a red card within 10 minutes but scored 2 goals in 8 minutes!

Things ticking along nicely.

Alcaraz sorted, Tete on a free, structure all in place.

Just need to get the Gana contract sorted and it’s been a decent start before the business part of the window gets going.

Yeah, I’m feeling weirdly calm about this window.

There’s a lot to be done and lots of ways it can go wrong but Moyes has a lot of credit in the bank as far as transfers go, not to mention that it feels like he and the recruitment team will be able to spend somewhat proactively.

At the very least, there have been an extremely limited number of links to overrated, overpriced Premier Leaguers and crap freebies who’ve worked with the manager before (shoutout Coufal) which feels like heaven after so many windows of the Moshiri era.
