If we can survive this season then that boosts our chances next season.
Silly that that's how I'm thinking but it is.

Depending what punishment any of the three of us get, Leeds must be rightly fuming.

How long after the first hearing did we hear about the deduction?

I think it's likely there's a sale in June. I'm struggling to figure out how we fell foul of PSR rules last year when we sold Gordon for £45m and Kean for £30m. We had some incoming but still should have been a profit of £50m or so.
Impacts of transfer fees this year would be:
Beto - £25m/5
Chermiti - £12.5m/5
Danjuma - £3m/1
Outgoings would be:
Iwobi - £22m
Gray - £8m
Cannon - £7m
Simms - €5m
Nkounkou - £2m
Ish-smith - £2m
So we should be up when we account for amortization. Of course, amortization means previously purchased players impact the results as well. I get the impression we need to turn a £50m+ a year profit from player trading to not fall foul of PSR. Maybe we get away with selling someone like Keane or Godfrey, get some dough for Maupay and another academy kid?
Still need some right-sizing of our wages. Dele and Gomes dropped off and maybe we get 1 or 2 in to replace them as squad fillers on 1/3 the wages. Until our revenue goes up, and interest costs go down, the squad will be paper thin and we'll need some sort of sale every year.
Sure I read that Beto was zero down this year with his transfer fee back ended, which I presume was for cash flow reasons. OK, so we would actually need to expense the partial amortisation this year too?

So does this now mean the slate is wiped clear for City and Chelsea ? Even Notts Forest if it is effective this summer ?
If that’s the case I’m done !

Suppose so but who knows what their situation would have been for next season, anyway who from Everton represented us at this meeting of Premier League Shareholders (The Clubs)

I guess they may try and sweep it under the carpet but there's no reason historical investigations or charges should cease just because the future rules change.

The league might just try it, whether they misstep (in the same way Man Utd did regarding reintroducing an unpalatable player), and rile the fans to push for action on an independent regulator, or whether they leave it until enough water has passed under the bridge.
City's case can be kicked down the road for years even if the league pursue it, are they likely to eject City if found guilty and self-inflict major brand damage and provide further impetus for a breakaway?

The reality of this is if City were found guilty of 115 breaches, given the precedent the PL have set they would have to impose a sanction so severe as to effectively relegate them at least one division. The PL have absolutely no appetite to relegate City and cast aspersions on every title they have ever won so they need to manipulate it one way or another so that doesn't happen.
