On the face of it he seems a decent option considering the state we are in. I really thought we'd end up going to some consortium who would use all their money just to complete a purchase.

What could possibly go wrong?

Exclusivity for Textor effectively ties this process up for as long as it takes him to sell his stake in Palace. Likely to mean our finances are unclear in the January window also, which is far from helpful - Moshiri putting his needs first once again.

Still would have preferred the Friedkins.
But I've been volleyed in the bollocks so many times by this club that I don't necessarily know what's actually the right option anymore.

Isn't Lyon one of his teams? And Palace sold JOB to them for £1m and then to us? Interesting.

I'm up for this, and think it'll go through. He wouldn't be putting in so much effort to sell his stake in palace and pursue this, knowing what has already happened with the Friedkin group, unless he's determined to see it out.

Any fullback not 39 years old would be nice

Textor sounds a bit like a mug. Shoot first, ask questions later. Why did he agree to invest in Palace at those terms, when 5 minutes of reading would make it obvious he has no real authority?
Then again, I guess that's just Murrika for you.

I would imagine we wouldn’t enter into an exclusivity period without assurances that he was going to be able to get rid of his Palace shares

Why’s that?
He’s only selling a minority stake, so the process to buy us would be longer than that

What are our thoughts on this guy?
At least he’s got some knowledge and experience of being involved in football and the PL. Palace been pretty good at identifying and buying up some of the best young talent out the Championship as well
Better than some random consortium with one pretend lifelong ‘fan’ having a stab at it
