I’m struggling to celebrate this tbh.

Bored the arse of me for the most part.

I get this is the way to get through tournaments but the slow paced, negativity on and off the ball is a bit much at times.

It’s British commentators, if a player hasn’t played in the PL the first time they’re hearing of a player is when they read his name on the cheat sheet they’re handed

They could even beat them.

People thought the Swiss would outplay us for some reason.

This is what we are. Boring and rigid but we’re in the semi.
Yeah I think that's fair.

It's dull and uninspired, but England aren't an easy team to beat. That was a Swiss team that beat Italy and drew with Germany. Not a bad side at all, and England were a bit better throughout the game without ever dazzling or convincing.

Every chance they could squeak through against Turkey/Netherlands and every chance they could lose narrowly to Spain.

England have scored every penalty they’ve taken under Sir Kier Starmer.

Think I just hate teams like that. As BD said earlier, they're the Man United of international football at the moment. A poorly coached team bailed out by individuals again and again and then celebrate like they haven't just got away with murder. Every match I'm just hoping Pickford doesn't make the fuck-up that sees them go out.

Toney's penalty technique was amazing, in fairness to him. Must've taken so much practice to be able to do that on demand.

Just absolutely painful to watch

Scoring all five without Harry or Phil taking one too. Strong depth on takers.

Even we managed a draw with Switzerland. :)

I just want some glimmer of hope we can go and win this, and we're in the semi final without even the tiniest bit.

I feel very conflicted as we're in a winnable semi final yet I feel like we're a million miles away from being capable of winning this tournament 🤷

Maybe Southgate knows more than me, or maybe it'll finally catch up with us in the next round.

I thought Eze was great defensively given he's not a defender at all. He was great defensively in the last game too.
