Watching a pretty good game between Middlesborough and Ipswich and it's easy to forget how crap decisions were before VAR too.
Assistant referee behind the action calling a player though on goal offside when he looked on, basically had to be guessing as there is no way to tell from where he was to call offside with any confidence. I didn't see a replay but one of the goals given looked offside in the buildup, and there were some dubious penalty decisions too.
VAR and is there a way to fix it?

Absolutely. I think var should be a massive positive and stop the big sides getting favourable decisions.
