Virginia > Travers
Begovic > King
Young > Aznou
Mangala > Rohl
Harrison > Dibling
Lindstrom > Grealish
Broja >
Doucoure > KDH
DCL > Barry

Considering that the majority of the departures were shite, injured or didnt feature much thats a pretty significant upgrade across the squad.

Maybe we'll buy a RB in January.....

Inability to sign a right back is a misstep, but overall it seems a positive window.

One right back off being completely comprehensive.

Everyone we bought is either quality or has big potential with the exception of the two backup keepers (and even Travers rates quite highly as a shot stopper even if the rest of his game is suspect).

Best summer in ages. Transfer committee didn’t work as quickly as hoped but it did bag players who are (1) good, (2) appropriate for our needs, and (3) good professionals to gel with the personalities we already had.

Would’ve liked it to be less stressful but no complaints about the results. Now to enjoy the football.

Yeah, completely understand not being able to do everything we needed in one window - but by god they came close.

Only criticism I can level is squarely couched in the "better late than never" variety.

I might be jumping the boat here a little bit, but I'm pretty confident that with the signing of Rohl we have the best hair 11 in the division. I'm even including Pickford and Tark's glue hair in that. Just need Miko to grow his out a bit now and we'll land up in first place.

Really a right back away from our best window ever. As it is still a very good one

I don’t know, ‘07-‘08 is borderline untouchable.

Baines, Jags, Howard on a permanent, Pienaar on the initial loan, Yakubu.

Over 1000 appearances for the club in that. Incredible stuff.

Yeah that's why we needed the right back. Time will tell how good these signings are but there doesn't seem to be a mistep in there.

A versatile midfielder let's Garner be emergency RB cover, so I get it.

And that's with Coleman and Patterson still at the club.

Nice to have bench with some outfield players on it. Been a long drawn out but very good window.

7/10

Points lost for

No RB
No Gana regen
No genuine (rather than fake) pace signed in any position

We have done well to have a very solid first 15 or so with all the leavers at the end of last year.

All the signs are there that this has been a fantastic transfer window for the club. You can't say it was a perfect window due to the lack of a RB, but otherwise we have significantly upgraded our squad.

Grealish coming in has made it a special window for me. He is the type of player that you love to watch and the reason that you look forward to going to the game.

The rest of the signings also seem to be pulling the club in the right direction, which after many years of mismanagement is a wonderful change.

Some of the signings will take time to bed in, whilst others like Grealish and KDH have hit the ground running. So nice to see them complement N'Diaye so well already.

Finally we can start to look up and dream of the possibilities again.

Criminal we signed x2 backup keepers but didn't address RB issue thats been glaring for at least 2 seasons now, puts a bit of a dampener on what has been an excellent window all things considered

8/10
