Nice of Bournemouth to crush the souls of Ipswich in stoppage time.

Shame about Leicester

Killer for Ipswich there today themselves and Southampton look gone already I fancy wolves to get out of it possibly with a new coach between about 5/6 of the others including us to go with the promoted 2

Leicester and Ipswich failing to win at home, can't be displeased with that.

Think that's a decent weekend for us so far. Wolves lose too and its a good 1.

Wolves fan on the radio made a good point about them getting a new coach. It's basically a very unappealing job because there's no money for transfers in Jan and whilst they have a few decent / good players they sold too many starters in the summer to be competitive.

I think they're gone and no decent manager will go anywhere near them. They might get lucky with an appointment but I think it's more likely they go down regardless.

It's a big few weeks for Wolves, they play West Ham then Ipswich then Leicester. Each of those games could go either way it feels like at the moment. You'd probably want them losing to West Ham then drawing the other two?

Also, can't really overlook the fact we have Arsenal (away), Chelsea (home) then Man City (away)...I mean that's a ridiculously tough run.

Chances are at the moment after those Boxing Day games we'd be in 17th, but also likely 15th to 18th will probably only be separated by a 2-3 points.

Very tough run of matches. Maybe the extra days off will help but I hate Arsenal away, pretty sure that's guaranteed to be 0 points.

Chelsea are flying and look great at the moment, have always felt confident playing them at home but think it'll be tough.

City away, should have sorted out their issues by that point and will pummel us.

Would take 1 point right now and be ok with it.

I'd been looking at Forest as being the tonic that lifts the place going into the new year and allowing us to go into Bournemouth (a), Villa (h), Spurs (h) and Brighton (a) with a bit of a bounce.
All very difficult games if we're in a slump - but there are points in January if we are playing at the top of our game.

Wolves just have no defence. They look decent on the ball and create problems with Cunha etc, and are certainly PL standard attacking wise. But if you can't stop the goals going in, like Leicester a couple of years back, you will always have problems winning games.

I think with a new manager who provides some more stability in a tactical sense at the back, they do have a chance. But I am not sure O'Neil can, or wants to change.

Ipswich just aren't good enough at this level, and Southampton are awful.

As bad as this Everton team is, it's difficult to see how we get relegated over these 3, and that's before you bring Leicester and Palace into the equation.

No, I meant a lift in morale after getting battered for the 4 games between now and Forest.

But (I didn't finish my thought above now I look at it): Forest are flying and it's not quite the banker I thought it would be at the start of the season.

I'll always think 40 points is the first target. 6 points from Arsenal (a), Chelsea (h), city (a), forest (h), Bournemouth (a) gets us half way there after half the games.

Tall order really. Would probably take 3 as a decent return
