I guess the timeline is all dependent on when he's sold his stake in Palace, which could be months? I assume a 45% stake would need to go through a fit and proper test too?

And has Textor already gone through that, being a part owner of Palace, so wouldn't have to jump through those hoops to buy us? Or does he have to re-apply regardless to prove sources of money etc.?

I've had all the excitement about any takeover slapped out of me by the Freidkin late letdown.

Yeah it's just general vibes for me with this guy.

So annoying as TFG just seemed like the absolute perfect fit.

I'm not into Textor either. He seems to separate his interest at the moment with 0% towards Lyon (who have had some difficulties since he took over) and 100% towards Botafogo. Seems a bit of a fantasist and unable to keep his mouth shut.

I doubt any meetings will need to take place in Liverpool.

At least we know he's owned a club before and isn't some rogue money launderer like the current owner.
