Might also give some credit to the Celik rumors being true.
This is what I was saying! Hope this comes off and works well for both because this could lend a new dimension to our player trading moving forward.

I still think we’re going to sign a starter to play alongside Gana

I think midfield is probably 3rd on the list of priorities tbh, we desperately need a striker which we seem near to completing a deal, an RW and then a CM or two.

I could see us having a decent season with someone functional in CM like Longstaff next to Gana, as I've said many a time on here Newcastle finished 4th with him in CM a few seasons ago. He's a solid player, not brilliant but better than Garner by some stretch.

I'd be fine with us spending the real cash on the attacking players, and then using the small midfield depth to allow Armstrong game time with an emphasis of finding a star midfielder the following summer.

We currently have Garner and Tim.

This is a recipe for relegation.

I wouldn’t mind longstaff singing but only as a 4th choice behind Gana (if he signs) a creative midfield and garner (rubbish)

It’s the number one priority. It’s where most our money needs to go.

The words rebuild & Longstaff really don’t go together.

Midfield options Longstaff, Garner & Iroegbunam would be really bad and really really slow

Both Iroegbunam & Armstrong should be out on loan next season.

Pace and creativity alongside Gana we need.

Ben Jacobs works for GiveMeSport lads.

Something tells me they haven't got the scoop on Everton's midfield incomings.

Talk of us signing a right back from Brazil and loaning him to Roma.

Would rather we swerved that type of stuff.
