He's marginally the best of the worst crop of English keepers ever. When you see other keepers talk about him they're usually quite disparaging, which says it all when they usually stick together.
He's ok for a mid to lower table prem team, it is what it is

He's a very good keeper who's in bad form. He's been great for us for the past 2 seasons and usually rock solid for England and has performed great in big matches.

For whatever reason as soon as his form dips, as every player's does at points, it's like this is the norm for his ability rather it being abnormal.

Hopefully he regains form quickly but it'll always be just one error or bad patch of form before people start claiming Ramsdale or Pope should be number one again, even though they're nowhere near as good.

Yeah I love him, gets a massive wide berth for his dips in form after keeping us up twice. Top keeper, with a few weaknesses.

Few weaknesses? Never claims anything in the box, gets beat more than any keeper in the league from distance, terrible at one on ones, and is erratic as fuck. Technically you're right, these are a 'few' weaknesses, but fuck me, they're quite significant weaknesses compared to his strengths - good shot stopper, can kick the ball from one goal straight out of play to the other end

Fortunately, we've been comfortable enough the last few years to manage with a shite keeper ;)

For the last few years he’s been our most important and consistent player and won us more points than any other mofo.

Edit: yeah, his dips are bad tho

I'll be made up when we've improved enough that Pickford is a big problem for us.

Was bound to happen lads his form last few games hasn’t been great plus he is an easy target for the fans rather than look at the bigger problems

Hopefully he'll use this as a wake up call as he hasn't been good enough
