Yeah, I just was saying he needs a good season I feel. He was practically invisible last one (he had injuries then too) and I doubt he can get away with that again otherwise I'd not entirely be surprised to see him moved on.

Got into our pre season games over here a couple of years ago under Frank and it was obvious he was going to be a player. We couldn't offer him first team even then, but we should've had something in place for him, ie loaned him to Liege rather than offloading him, or at least having a buy back.

One of the worst bits of business we've done on the offloading side of the ledger.

We didnt offload him. He didnt want to stay so didnt sign a contract.

That's right, should have phrased it more along the lines of we should have done a lot more to keep him. We could offer more than Liege would have and he's only on around 10k per week now at the Baggies.

Frank was obviously a fan, and we could have loaned him to whoever he was keen to play for. Not that our priorities were in that sphere at that time.

I am looking forward to United/Arsenal later.

Hope for a classic. I miss the days of Viera and Keane, no speaking or smiling in the tunnel. Scrapping and hatred.

Too nice these days.

Hopefully Arsenal batter them.

Chelsea’s bench looking pretty shite, considering how much they’ve spent.

Brentford give the set piece coach the main job and the first goal they concede from is a corner
