Pickford
RB O'Brien Branth LB
Gana DM (Tim maybe?)
Alcaraz NDiaye LW
CF

Wouldnt be too fussed with McNeil in the midfield tbh. And would be happy with Chermiti getting the striker gig i think?

Hope Gana can teach Tim to be better.

Is anyone else like me, itching for the season to just be finished so we can crack on with the rebuild?

We're not going down now and it's probably 13th at best.

Just wanna get stuck in to wild rumors circulating and being genuinely excited to see what we do this window.

Be interesting to see our approach, just hope the signings are sensible and have thought behind them.

Defo mate. Exciting summer ahead.

We create some of those counter attacking chances last night with better players than Doucoure, Harrison and even Beto and it's a totally different result.

In terms of how we sign players, I was listening to Paddy Boyland the other day and we're still in the process of hiring various people in the new recruitment setup. I think he said we're going to be appointing a Head of Player ID, a Head of Trading and I think a Head of Data/Analytics. So there's going to be quite a lot of change in the near future that's going to feed into a massively important summer for us.

I think as long as pace is added we will be a lot stronger next year. I dont expect a complete first 11 overall but an exciting winger maybe a new dynamic CM. This woile revolutionise us over a season.

Looked at one point like he might be growing into the league, but no.

I don't mind if we buy ONE cheap winger for continuity (either Lindstrom or Harrison) but now I think can't be both.

Yes on Gana, hard no on Young and Doucoure.

Creativity has to me the main thrust of the initial signings. It's what we lack the most desperately.

Wouldn’t buy either

I’d possibly loan Lindstrom again as a backup winger as he’s an overseas one, Harrison would just be a waste

I am certainly open to 0 retention on the wing, too. Just saying I won't shit bricks if one signs and is super cheap.

Yeah I would. The cost is low, he can play RWB, RM and AM... That's a lot of cover for low outlay.

He's also had a season to adjust to the league which some players from abroad need and start to show a lot more the next one.

Moyes also has liked him previously so obviously see's something in him, and with his history of bringing out the best in players looking for a home I'd back him to get more out of him moving forward.

Lowish cost squad player already used to the club and manager means for me it's not something to pass up given he's definitely got some talent and probably just needs a guiding hand to show it more.

He is absolutely shit. I'd rather play with ten men.

Show me a better player who can play across 3 positions for £16.6m or less and I'd be happy to go for that player.

We need a lot of bodies, a versatile low cost player who actually did well in Germany and so has potential for such a low fee is a no brainer imo.

Obviously if he was starting every game our recruitment hasn't been good enough, but as a versatile squad player costing about £5.75m per position meaning we can spend more elsewhere? Yeah for me that's worthwhile.
