Been a really strong first half that, obviously never a penalty in a million years but no one can argue we deserve to be level or ahead.

Foden has been immense, off the line and hit the angle... Really stepped up so far today, been out best player.

Need a second half like that now because we've not managed that in this tournament... Come on England!!!

Harry Kane could pull a goal a gun out and shoot someone and Ian Wright would say it's fine and 'it's just part of the game these days'. 😂

If that pen is given against England Ian Wright would be doing his head in, the idiot.

England playing with energy as directed, looking good. Dutch looked dangerous on the break. Interesting with big Wout on.

First game of actually had a chance to watch and I’m finding it difficult, where are the England I’ve been reading about for the last two weeks? I can’t believe I’m reduced to almost enjoying watching England.

Seriously, a bit like Bobby Robson in Mexico, it seems Southgate has somehow stumbled on a system that allows his assets to shine. Foden has been incredible. Looking forward to the second half especially with the changes both have made.

They’d want £30m plus Branthwaite and Onana.

I still maintain that Denzel Dumfries sounds like some legendary council estate hardcase.

Opening 10 minutes of the second half has been much stodgier despite Shaw coming on. Be a good game for TAA at RWB but not sure who you take off without changing the system, taking off Saka feels wrong.

Can't not hear his name in the heavy brogue that I imagine Gash to have.

Aye. It works in cockney, too.
