Scored 12 last season for a crap Burnley side.

He's 28 though so would have to be a cheap pick up.

Must have been who Moyes was watching the other day.
Didn’t know he was 28 ffs.

Still, looked really good last season.

That goal against wolves was beautiful

Don’t mind Flemming on the cheap.
He looks like a gobshite though. As long as that’s his on-pitch persona against opponents, it’s fine. If that’s just his personality - swerve.

Burnley value him at around 20mil I think

If we spend that on this guy and don’t bring in a right back I’m gonna level with you - I won’t be best pleased

In terms of the squad, it’s not as if we are going to have a ton of games next year. We don’t have a lot of international players, we aren’t in Europe, and even if by some miracle we have two long domestic cup runs, that shouldn’t equate to more than 50 ish games, which is pretty standard.

So surely from here (apart from RB) it is one in one out?

Even then, I think once we have a RB, Patterson will be gone and we will be happy with JOB and Rohl as RB backups for this season.

I am actually quite happy with our squad given where our finances are. Clearly every position can be upgraded but that’s not our reality. Just praying that RB gets sorted.

If we get a really decent rb in I would also be happy with our squad, if we had a different manager.

That’s where I’m at.

An Iraola type. As in someone who wouldn’t play Mykolenko every game, or play a giant cb at right-back.

But maybe we will never go down that route.

It certainly feels like it.

I know some will say we tried it with Martinez and Silva, but there was little high energy with their styles.

Maybe Silva’s sides would have been without him insisting on always playing Sigurdsson, but there we are.
