Maybe. But for every one that’s been great on their debut and got our hopes up, plenty more have been shit, or even average, and gone on to be good for us.

Just think this is mad writing a lad off this quick because he missed a couple of headers he had McNeil as left back for most of the game

How does the leftback impact his ability to head a ball?

You'd slaughter Keane if he had the same stats.

People just expected way to much of this lad, time to accept that maybe those initial expectations were unfounded.

It doesn't need to be that he's the next best thing or he's utter shite... People always seem to jump on one side of something instead of just having patience and seeing how it plays out.

Just because Keane's shit doesn't mean JOB is better... Maybe in time, let's just have some patience and see how he does over the next season or two before deciding he's one thing or another.

Honestly felt bad for him. They stick a man on Keane let him have the ball from the keeper. Nobody ever gave him an option and it just ended up getting turfed up the pitch. Tedious.

No one's writing him off, just that on his showing so far it's easy to see why Keane is preferred, I don't know why you can't understand that.

Be honest, do you think O'Brien has looked even semi competent in the games he's played so far?

I'm starting O'Brien over Keane myself like, just got to move on from Keane.

He does look crap O'Brien but you need Keane out the side ASAP.
