Thought I read he was out of contract in the summer

Edit: Nope, he's got another year. Fucking hell.

What was that VAR all about? There was nothing there to change the refs mind?

Correct decision I think, there's no way Buonanotte is deliberately playing that ball and he's offside from the previous Sheffield United touch.

Ekoku is a moron who has no idea what's going on.

They were asking him if Buonanotte was deliberately trying to play the ball I think.

Not sure why they could make that decision themselves like.

We're paying Holgate £75k a week until the end of next season...

I'd honestly be shocked if we were able to loan him out at this rate. Maybe a mid table championship side would take him but chances of them paying more than 10% of his wages are effectively 0.

Just seemed a waste of three minutes so that they can disallow for a different reason the ref gave.

We deserve a 10 point deduction for that alone!

Holgate, Niasse and Garbutt. League 1 and league 2 players we paid an absolute fortune to. It's staggering how badly wrong we got things. Just tossing a coin would have seen us back better decisions

Don't think we had one?

It was Martinez who signed him.

He was a talented player once. Was on the verge of the England squad. Just never progressed as a footballer, and spent too much time posturing and posing.

Don't know why they're booing Hitoma, he's lucky not to be on his way to hospital with a broken leg.
