You have to read most of Ram's comments (about the woke mob, and being right again) in Luke Moore's (Football Ramble) voice these days, and you know it's mostly tongue in cheek japery.
Ye has to be tongue in cheek that. It made me laugh anyway.

I'll be honest, I'm entirely concerned with the frying pan at this point.
Rumours of fires are to be treated as such until they become substantiated through time.

I do not understand why people get so worked up about press conferences and whatever sanitized communications come from ownership. It's all pablum. Then again...there's a fuckload about humanity that I don't get.

I still think it would be better than what it could be under Textor.

Think all knew Textor was all smoke to flush out Dan, telling us all which Brazilian he would be buying an all that .

December 7th.
We play the Shite. (Likely change for TV purposes)
Be a great first game under his reign if that's the case.

It's exciting, it's new, they don't seem like nob jockeys like the 777 lot.

Thought that was going to be a chant then.

I don't know how anyone can moan about Friedkin at this point. Obviously it might go tits up but this lot have the least red flags of any of them whilst 777 were literal crooks hanging around for a year.
It's just a relief that certain people won't be involved in the club (anymore).

Roma do seem to act a bit like we did in the early days of Moshiri.
And Palace are moving in a good direction.
I'm not sure there is much to suggest the dislike of Textor and like of Friedkin is any more than cult of personality than it is being judged on cold hard facts
As brap said though, my only concern is getting out of the frying pan at the moment.

Right now I’d be content with a few seasons without media headlines beginning “beleaguered Everton”, “crisis club”, “laughing stock”, etc.
An end to armchair pundits filling post-match comments with cliches about circling the drain, needing a relegation re-set or perennial relegation candidates would also be welcome. Let them all find some other club to plague with their inaccurate, tactually incorrect cliches and jolly japes. Just feck right off.
Add a moderate improvement on what we see on the pitch (whoever is manager) and I’m fully on board with our non-communicative, trigger happy, only here for the flip new owners.
