Uninspiring and bland. England are the beige-est of teams aren’t they?

Anti-Sunderland bias. I bet he's sat there with an inflatable dinosaur.

It's the most pointless thing to criticise considering every goalkeeper will be told by the manager how they should play with the ball.

I think England have done fine. Really nullified the best attacking team in the tournament, and had moments that they could've taken advantage of.

Juan Mata looking younger and fitter than he did when he was at United

I enjoyed him playing it short once, Shearer given it the “that’s what we should be doing” 10 seconds of passing and nearly losing the ball and then Pickford has to go long anyway as we’d done nothing with it

Bit of a nothing half.
Mainoo hasn't been in it.

Be brave and get Watkins on. Threaten them in behind and don't let them sit on the halfway line comfortably.

Said exactly the same, he's doing my head in not even jumping for headers etc, the rest of it is fine so far.

Kept Spain quiet but need to have more quality on the ball and being braver with it.
If we can use the ball better we've shown we can stop Spain, but unless we do so it's going to be us just getting pushed back as the game progresses.
It's there for the taking but this is where those talented players need to step up and be more ambitious with the ball.

I’d never class Foden, Mainoo, or Bellingham as beige, mate
