Just a nice story about Eze, I may have told here before, but I can't remember if I have.

My brother in law is a sports therapist and worked at QPR on the medical team for 12-13 years (he has so many stories, some belters about Warnock, Redknapp and Holloway in particular). He got on really well with Eze who was only a young lad at the time. When he moved to Palace, my brother in law was on the verge of leaving football to set up his own business, so Eze offered him a signed QPR shirt to hang in the clinic, he turned him down and said "no I want an England one when you make your debut!".

2-3 years later, Eze made his debut for England and the following week when my brother in law arrived at the clinic, there was a package waiting for him, and there it was, a signed England shirt from Eze which now hangs proudly in his clinic.

Not interested much in CL but Chelsea/Barcelona feels like it could be a chaotic one tonight. On Amazon Prime as well.

Pretty fun game so far. Chelsea 1-0 after a couple of goals being disallowed.

Oh never mind he's offside...actually no it's given. He looked soooo offside on that pass. It is 1-0.

Oof Barca down to 10 with their high line could get messy.

I just can't get into pre Christmas Champions League games, it's even worse now with the shitty new format. When 24 out of 32 teams qualify, there is next to zero jeopardy. And yeah it throws up more games like Liverpool v Real Madrid and Chelsea v Barcelona, but with relatively low stakes these games are just tepid affairs despite what these bellend commentators and pundits tout.

Coventry are flying. I know he wasn’t well received at us but I’m glad he’s doing well there.

Happy to see Lampard doing well, I still think out of his generation of players he's the one who could make it as a decent manager, perhaps it was just too early here, perhaps he'll just be a really good Championship manager.

Always liked Coventry too and after all the trumoil they've had over the last 20-30 years it would be great to see them back in the PL.

Guardiola clearly has this opinion too with the line up he went for, won’t be long before others do it as well
