Apologies if already posted. I watched/listened to this yesterday. Good insights. Plenty of positives but a word of caution as to the Roma situation.

One of the replies on Twitter was ‘Up The Friedkin Toffees!’ which made me smile

Mourinho is currently at Fenerbahçe, and the Super Lig club have directly dressed these claims.

Sunday’s edition of Hurriyet, quotes a club official as saying: “There is no offer from Everton, and even if there was, Mourinho only has Fenerbahçe in mind. He is completely focused on his job.”

It’s also made clear the Everton rumour hasn’t come from the manager’s camp, which suggests Jorge Mendes is surprised by the sudden claim too.

I would despair if he came to us. I want a younger, hungry manager who has the vision to match our hopes. I'd like Carseley myself but would he come?

As others have said before, why would Friedkin employ a manager they've recently sacked?

Answer - they wouldn't.

Pretty sure the sacking didn't go down well with Mourinho himself either, he won't want to associate himself with the Friedkins ever again.

He went back to Abramovic.
I hate the idea of him coming to us, but he’d snap their hand off if he was offered the job.

Yeah, I definitely think he'd take the job if offered, but certainly isn't a correct fit for this club as constructed.

I suppose if they did it wouldn't save us fans time worrying about whether we've escaped the madhouse yet.

He always spoke well of Everton as well. I don’t particularly like his football but he’s still a big name like Anchelotti was.

Might attract a better quality of player??

Gonna be a fun few months leading into January - hope targets are already being looked at and spoken to

Really wouldn't want mourinho. He's obviously still a decent manager but it's the wrong and an expensive pass for where we are at
