I'm very excited about this one, he just looks like an instinctive finisher, something we need so badly. Crossing my fingers.

If he’s the DCL replacement - then although raw, he’s an upgrade, so all good - on to the next

The Flappening has dialled down to a simmer. Another target in before the kids break up and we can all jet off without a care in the world

Can’t pass for shit but still racks up assists and unbeatable in the air?

I wouldn’t worry too much about the passing stuff.

I doubt he’s good at it BUT the low percentile for attempts suggests that nobody’s playing the ball into his feet (underscored by the mediocre percentile for progressive passes received) and the low percentile for completion percentage is probably wrapped up in the high percentile for aerials (knockdowns are low-quality passes).

The important things are he wins a ton in the air and gets high-quality shots off.

Play with his feet will be a work in progress which is fine at his age. Up to Moyes and crew to sort the rest of the team out so we can feed him where he likes the ball currently.

Yeah, like with Beto and DCL with Carlo, actually playing to a striker’s strengths can turn a struggling striker into a very good one.

Watching some YouTube videos of him and he looks comfortable on his weaker foot. Maybe not two footed but not afraid to use his right and very capable on it.

Tall, fast, unpredictable, good with both feet, looks a natural finisher. Could end up being a real coup this!

Do we think he’ll get the 9 shirt or Beto gets it?
