Good game from him today.
It would be nice though to add another into the mix that added more of a physical presence when needed into that area.

He will make us whole, and will be good in the middle against better teams with a DM and Gana behind him.
There's not much of him, but most of it is brain, commitment and skill - we've been so lacking players like that for what feels like such a long time.

Yeah had a decent game. His ability to be a link between the midfield and attack is going to be invaluable, as long as we get the balance around him right.
The control and perfectly weighted pass he did for the Ndiaye goal were faultless. Not a prayer Doucoure is getting either of those touches right.
Relatively simple things but without them, there's no goal in that situation. And you could see from Grealish's run onto the pass, he expected that the weight of pass would be right, which is the virtue of having good footballers playing together.

Think we saw his strengths when seeing out that 2 goal lead yesterday , he looked after the ball well. Just kept things ticking over nicely. Think he can actually do more going forward than he has shown so far, but with Grealish, NDiaye and hopefully Dibling in front of him, that’s not gonna be his main responsibility
Also he worked his arse off yesterday and seemed well up for it, thinks he loves being here and playing a big role

His control of the ball in the build up to the first goal was impressive. Overhit pass by Gana and he still managed to get it under control while stretching and feeding out a great pass to Grealish

Not seen it mentioned but a lovely little back post dink for the O'Brien header too, a bit more control from O'Brien and he nods that across for somebody to tap in

Yeah, I think his job is going to mostly be providing an outlet for and moving the ball quickly between our attacking stars.
With that said, he absolutely has the quality to score goals and provide assists when those players draw extra defensive attention and open up space for him.

Thought he was really good there but couldn't really enjoy it because Brap said he was a championship player.

He's going to be boss for us, he gets about the pitch and isn't scared of taking the ball anywhere.

His role is vital to keeping attacks flowing.
Proper stonker of a finish today.

He's a clever player, goes about his business and will do a job for us.
