Love Gana to bits, would be happy for him to renew as he's our best midfielder and he's improved in age with his passing and dribbling being quite underrated now.

That being said I can't believe I'm reading that he doesn't rely on pace and has excellent positioning. As good as he is he leaves massive gaps when he goes ball hunting and relies on a midfield partner and his own physicality to cover for that. There's definitely a world where he loses a yard of pace and drops off a cliff - even if that world is 2-3 years away

I wouldn't listen to her - she was banging on about my recycling bins being in her driveway yesterday.

Assume we're talking about the same Joyce.

My ex's mum was Joyce. She once made unsweetened apple pie with unsweetened custard.

The fact they were Kopites was a big enough red flag, but there was no coming back from savoury custard.

My mum was Joyce, she was the best, and her apple pies were sweet.

My next door neighbour growing up was Joyce.

She always talked about the national trust.

My mum worked with a woman called Joyce.

She was just a standard 1980’s English old lady.

Not so keen on all these old lady anecdotes in the Gana thread, could do with a break from them to be honest.

Too much re-Joyce-ing.

You’re a real bundle of Joyce these days.

Involved in one of best episodes of telly. Heartbreaking stuff and possibly the first time television properly shocked me to my core.
