How can Scottish football get better? Shameful

The worst of it is they'll both laugh at each other but it absolutely ruins the co-efficiency so ruins both their future chances of CL football.

Much as I don't like them I'd love Rangers to pull off a result tonight just to really rub Celtic's noses in it.

Rangers 1-0 down after 5 minutes then Max Aarons gets sent off after 8. I'd cancel his loan just for that.

Celtic's defeat was a poor night for Scottish football but you can always rely on Rangers to have a 'hold my beer' moment.

Obviously not by this sort of score but hand on heart, you'd have Club Brugge knocking Rangers out most times in a way you absolutely wouldn't have Kairat Almaty (admittedly I haven't seen a lot of them) knocking Celtic out.

This could well get Martin the sack (from a three year permanent deal while unbeaten in the league) but the Celtic result is the worse one.

This though is even funnier.

Yeah, I said that to a Celtic fan at work yesterday, regardless of what Rangers do if Celtic go out that's the worse result of the two and he agreed.

i think russell will get the boot and ehhm enter stevie gerrard - to me that just makes 100% sense
he would bring rangers back to a decent level
the owners would have to admit to making huge error appointing russell and reconsider gerrard

Good old Scottish football, there's no middle ground, it's either an embarrassing exit, an absolute pumping or a last minute heart break and they managed serve them all up in one week. Feel for Hibs, from 3-1 down in the tie to get back to 4-3 ahead only to concede in stoppage time and then go out in extra time.

Unfortunately it's hammered the co-efficiency now as well and looking like only 4 teams in Europe in a couple of years time with the champions having to play three CL qualifiers and the runners up playing three Conference League qualifiers. Who's laughing at each other now Rangers and Celtic?
