I wouldn't be shocked to see him here beyond this season if he gets us safely away from relegation before the end of the season, in part because I don't think we're going to be spending as much as we hope in the next 12-18 months.

If we finished where we would have last season without the points deductions, i.e. 12th, then tbf I think he'd have every right to carry on in the job. Only reason to jettison him would be if we only just scraped safety or were looking like going down part way through the season.
People dislike his brand of football, his voice, his press conferences, his lack of subs, using subs, being too defensive, not being defensive enough etc etc... but if he delivers results and league finishes then personally I think people need to at some point accept that he's actually a decent coach who's good for us.

A team that is mid table looking for a coach to push them into the European places would never consider him not because of bias against him his voice or anything like that it’s because he doesn’t have the skillset to do that job

When the new ownership is all finalised, we’ll be around December. Dyche will have to look like we will avoid the drop by then to keep his job.
We won’t have lots to spend in January because of all the restrictions, but the new owners will 100% prioritise being in the PL next season and they will do whatever they think they need to do to achieve that.

Well we aren't a mid table never mind 1 looking upwards.
Also I think he absolutely has been typecast and while you may be right he's never had anything close to a situation where he could prove you wrong. As pointed out above people said the same about Eddie Howe
We probably wouldn't be a premier league club without dyche. If he doesn't star it getting results he absolutely should be moved on but he's contributed more to our future than almost anyone in the moshiri era. Deserves an awful lot of respect and doesn't get it despite people pretending that he does

Well listen what history says about his time here might well be written in the next 5-6 games.
Gets us out the shit this season and gets us fairly steady then I think history will probably treat him kindly. He probably walks away reputation intact, maybe even enhanced. He won't have shed the Mike Basset typecast and probably never will, but will be set up for those future clubs that get sweaty around Christmas time.
Maybe one day he'll get the mythical squad good enough to change his football style for. Won't be holding my breath considering some of the decisions he's made this season, but it might happen.
Our fans similarly will probably be wearing the same shades as @777Kidnappings in time, as long as he makes it out of this year in one piece.
Continues to drop points from winning positions every week to the point where Everton have to sack him, then frankly I doubt we'll look back too fondly, and I doubt it would do his reputation, nor indeed his image as a possibly past-it relic good for one thing, any favours.

Feel like Everton and potter perfectly fit.
Chelsea was too big for him. He needs to have a few years at a club like us to rebuild his reputation.
You can play nice football here and finish 10th without it being an issue.
Whatever happens I think we need to move on from dyche. He was the right man for a club in freefall.
Now we can look up and look forward we need a manager to match that.
Build the right structure and environment, get a manager to match that and we can dare to dream of top half finished again.

I think he’ll turn it around when Branthwaite is back and Mangala is fully fit plus the other new players are still being worked in. The new stadium will bring in much needed extra revenue but I’d rather keep Dyche and invest it on the pitch as we’re still not in a great financial position and we need a lot of players. The new ownership will have their own ideas but it’s just the classic grass is greener mentality that says to change manager. It can go very wrong as has many times, most notably every time since moyes left. Dyche is the best of the lot imo and I think he’s massively underrated for what he’s done at Burnley and here.

Don't think id want dyche at the helm having his say and sticking his oar in when we're trying to rebuild.
This next 5 years could be a period.of optimism, it might be a chance to rebuild and reshape. Yes we wouldn't have got that opportunity if it wasn't for dyche but that doesn't mean we owe it to him to sign it away to him.

A decade ago, this is a team from the squad we finished 11th with, on 47 points. Last season we finished 12th on 48 points (deduction aside). Has the premier league got easier since? Yes we played in europe, but not sure we've more than one player currently that would slot into that team.
Howard
Baines
Coleman
Jagielka
Stones
Barry
Pienaar
Osman
Mirallas
Barkley
Lukaku
Since then we've made big mistakes and stripped away almost all quality.
That 14-15 team could play ball the way we'd like to see our current team do.
The last two seasons we've used what little competitive advantage we have to accrue points. And it hasn't been pretty to the eye.
Our squad doesn't scream sexy football, nor does it even balanced or effective football. He's had to make do with what he's got, and we've not had the cash to spend on who he'd like (and obviously neither had Burnley). He's judged in the media and by peers as someone who does well with what little he's been given.

one big problem with what you are saying is that we are not getting results, we have capitulated twice in 2 matches from a 2 goal lead to lose 3-2 one of those only took us 9 mins to fuck it all up
i hope that every morning when he wakes up and just before he goes to bed at night that he stands on a lego

Wouldn't wish that lego injury on my worst enemy, lol.
OK, so not only in that 9 mins did players not follow direct instruction being barked at them from the bench, but I just don't see how a group of 11 professionals, even on their own, cannot see that short period of time through without conceding once, let alone 3 times.
The players seem to be getting off without much criticism, when 90% of the blame lays with them. It was like they'd never played or even watched the game before.

It's only 5 matches in to the season though. People actually like it's Xmas and we're rock bottom.
We started in a similar way points wise last season and finished with the 12th most points. Bournemouth didn't win in 11 matches but everyone says their manager has done a great job. It's a long season, and a shame the good will Dyche built with our points haul despite all the chaos lasted less than half a dozen games of the new season.

We won’t need to waste any money on Dyche or his staff, they’re out of contract at the end of the season. A quick thanks for your work, all the best
And we can probably get a replacement on less money
So we’d be better off financially getting rid rather than keeping him anyway

its 7 games 5 in the league and 2 in the cup and apart from a win over a league 2 side we have been awful we wasnt even good in that win
i was behind dyche but his stubbornness and lack of any signs of learning from massive tactical mistakes has worn thin with me
things like he could smell it against bournmouth but did fuck all about it
the stunning 24% possession he had at home to southhampton
but most importantly i can not forgive him for Micheal Keane!!!

the players fucked up but i feel like dyche hung them out to dry with his subs and lack of subs, taking ndaiye off so he could get a nice clap as he came off not subing tim who was fucked by that point it was like dyche had never played or even watched a game before
