Southampton will dominate possession in most of their games.
It’s the way to play against them. Let them pass it for fun, and hit them.
The cup game was a nothing game.

The problem was not that they passed us off the park but that we did fuck all to win the game as it often is. They were there for the taking and we did nothing.
However, I wouldn't be giving him credit for winning it so it doesn't really go in my negative column either.
Next 5-6 games are crucial. Hope he's still got th backbone for the fight and doesn't throw his dummy out with all this talk of new owners wanting their own man.

Everton being shite is ingrained. Hopefully that changes with new owners and probably a new manager too. I just think the state we are in today has almost nothing to do with dyche
Think we've been a bit unlucky this season too... ultimately that doesn't matter in the end because he'll have to go if we continue to lose

I think people have Mandalorian Syndrome when we go through a bad patch under Dyche. It doesn't matter that he's shown in his time here he can correct a poor run or score enough points to come 12th with a crap squad... As soon as we lose a few people instantly go 'this is the way'.

i agree to some extent, dyche isnt responsible for the financial shit we are in and thus sold our best players and replaced them with mostly shite
i do get that
he has just got under my skin with his stubbornness and attitude this season, he comes across like phat sam, if he turns it round i will get off his back and even praise him if warranted

You have lost the plot lad finding excuses and praise for this guy he is a limited coach with a low ceiling has done well last two seasons to keep us up but struggling to see any positives at the moment

5 wins since December, is it?
Whether you like Dyche or not, I don't think it's baffling to see why people wouldn't be enjoying life under him.

You were struggling to see the positives the two seasons he did well.
He might have a low ceiling but it's a higher level than the everton he's had so far

Everton and enjoy don't really go together. Of course we aren't enjoying it but it's nothing new and the situation around the club these last 2 seasons has been the worst it's probably ever been

Hey man, if he gets another win before December then that's £1m per match win we're paying for him to manage the team. Well worth the money, I reckon most managers would struggle to get 4 wins, let alone 5! Pep must feel like a fraud when he sees what Dyche is doing.

Should’ve kept Benitez, waited until we got a better squad, then used his proven Champions League winning credentials to dominate Europe

For balance, comparing market values of 'top 18' squad members, Pep's players are valued at 3.6x times that of ours.
He's being paid 4x times that of Dyche.
His points accumulated is not quite 1.9x times that of Dyche. Even with all those wins.
