Dyche complains to PGMOL that Tarks should have seen red for violent conduct, wonder what he would be saying if he were still Everton manager and Tarks had got a red ? Anyway, Tarks should give his head a wobble, on another day that might actually have happened and we would have lost the game and him for three games just because of his petulance.

He knows what he's doing, if the ref sees it it's a yellow but if not zero chance of VAR doing anything.

It's never a red, not saying I condone it but it's almost a risk free reducer. They'll probably bring in some rule eventually if he keeps doing it as it's something he shouldn't be able to get away with, but as the rules stand it'd never be more than yellow.

No saying it was or deserved a red, just saying on another day with another ref (like the one who gave a yellow to KDH for taking a free kick too fast) he could have been sent off, we’ve had worse injustices.

TheRam wrote: Sun Dec 07, 2025 7:40 am Bit of a seminal moment for me yesterday.

Seeing our ex manager come to our gaff with a squad much better than ours, set his team up in a basic 442 with no pattern of play other than get the ball in the box and pick up the scraps.

Taking off a player like sangare for Ryan Yates at half time, play gibbs white up front taking him out the game, and having no way of changing it to get back into the game.

I saw their pass map in the second half and there was nothing in the middle. Everything going out wide for a load of aimless crosses.

That was us not too long ago.

Now we have moyes. We have patterns of play, we go direct, but we also play through the lines. He’s built the midfield around two very, very, good footballers in Grealish and dewsbury hall.

He put mykolenko back in that inverted full back role in the second half and opened the game up for both of them.

Light years of difference between the two and I’m so happy we’re one the right side of things for once and not having the deal with the absolute tripe managers like dyche serve up anymore.
did i enjoy reading this post - thank you Ram

I thought Tarkovski was fucking stupid for doing it though. Why risk it?

Lovely result, caps a good run of form before 2 monster games coming up.

Done well to get the points we have with a limited squad, well done Moyes.

Gonna have to watch MOTD as missed it all yesterday

The paradox of modern football. Hating people with phones out at the match, but loving watching the videos back.

Sat in a cottage in Shropshire, drinking Irish coffee with toast and honey, Mexican birria in the oven on a slow cook, log fire burning, dog crashed out at our feet, reading NSNO, every online report, watching videos of the game and everything around it with Dylan’s Freewheelin’ playing in the background.

The one thing I wanted more than anything was not to be spending weekends desperately calculating and re-calculating the table as anyone in the bottom half scored or conceded.

Fifth place, 24 points and we’re nowhere near Easter. Thank you DM, Everton and NSNO for a perfectly chilled Sunday.

Should have been a yellow for Tarks like. But the lad went down clutching his face after a shove in the back which is ridiculous

Do hate the way he gets involved in stupid stuff like that and the jarg Hard man act

But Dyche is probably at least partially responsible for creating this monster so tough shit!

The way Forest players threw themselves to the ground was cringeworthy

Also made up that it was a thoroughly miserable afternoon for that little Welsh Kopite knob Neco Williams

Listened to the Blue Room instant reaction and it was sooo bad, always is but making jokes about miners crossing the picket line etc just comes across as drunk ignorant blokes. Can't exactly criticise their fans for their chants when one of our biggest podcasts is doing shit like that.

Not hugely relevant to the game but think they need to be better than this. Would be a whole lot better if they got some different people on who have a bit more class about them imo.

Scrapping with each other in their end after half-time.

They're a horrible club. Horrible fans. Horrible chants. Horrible owner. And now horrible football.

I will quite happily see them go back to the championship where they belong for another 20 years.
