They'll probably do it after the January window just to "do something". Really not any point though, take the money and let him try and get back next year. He's done alright this time with very limited resources.

They should just let this season be a bonus and keep trying to build. Clubs don't often have the patience though.

I'm sure they'll win but these sort of matches are why I don't think Arsenal win the league. Just not expansive enough in the way they play which means the margins for them are too small. It only takes a soft pen or red card and they're in trouble.
