Also what has happened ndayie since afcon
3 non pen goals all season.
He was exactly as he always is today. Incredibly talented, incredibly ineffective.

If we are going to play like that Moyes needs to get KDH off and bring in Rohl or Alacaraz.
Kdh was too slow and weak for how that game was going. Needed runners to win battles and KDH is not good at either of those.
Overall I dont like Branthwaite at LB. He should be in - dont really care if hes beside Tarks or Keane. Keane was again better than Tarkowski today.

The absolute bottom line was the recruitment was a shocking failure. We cant keep getting it wrong

Said it many times this season already, but yet again, I hate seeing Gana trying to break a team down at home when we're chasing a goal.
We have Garner, Tim, KDH, Rohl, Armstrong - there's no need for him to be in there when we need some creativity.

He’s not helped though. Teammates give him the ball and then run away from him. No overlaps, no support. No Blue shirts in the same postcode.

Anyone else have 'recruitment' on their 777 matchday thread bingo card?

Tonight was fine, is what it is.
Issue is it comes after a load of abject performances at home to teams we should be beating.
We’ve been so, so bad at home this season.
The fans clapped them off and sing at the end so we’re starting to do our bit but we need more from the team.
The lack of pace and directness in the wide areas is killing us.
When we’re on the break we’re so slow I sometimes think the ref has blown up for something because it seems like everyone just stops.

If O'Brien had of been available he would have played him, It's so difficult though for Everton having a negative manager and an awful forward in Barry, oh for a manager and a striker

And a left back and a right back and some wingers and some pace.
We are lacking so much in this squad, but Moyes isn't helping with his negativity and obsession of playing players out of position

That loss was on Moyes imo.. we were slow, no movement off the ball and we needed pace. Playing a midfielder on the wing when you have wingers is the same as CB's at RB and is baffling. Brings George on and we played faster and more direct. Neither striker can play up top alone. Play two then... oh no. Not Moyes the stubborn cunt
