Fucksake, I went to put a tenner on Bournemouth at 9/1 at half time, a mate phone and by the time he was off the phone they'd scored 2!

At least there's no chance of us being 3-0 up at half time to then throw it away.

At least that gets Bournemouth's first home win of 2024 out the way before we come bearing gifts in a couple of weeks.
Could be a very damaging defeat that for Luton, they were already on a horrible run then throw in a defeat like that.

It's an absolute killer for them.
It's hard to see how you get over something like that, it will haunt you for years to come.
I really wouldn't know what to do with myself if that happened to us

Loving this Atletico match. They're so good at home and Inter have gone too defensive. Heading for extra time but wouldn't back against a winner before then.

Inter have been far too negative in this 2nd half.

Is that all they were at HT? I know they have actually gone on and won it but at 0-3 I would have been wanting a lot bigger price than that.
I was at a non league game one evening about twenty years ago when Tranmere (when they were good) were in a cup replay v Southampton. I however knew Southampton were a good thing at odds against and as news filtered through that they led 3-0 after about an hour I was counting my cash. Now this was before goal apps on the phone and no one in Staffordshire beyond me really gave a shit about this game so no further news crept through until I popped into the clubhouse post match for a pint knowing there was a bit of money to pick up from the bookies in the morning to pay for it.
The Tranmere game had kicked off fifteen minutes later than my game so imagine my surprise when I looked up at the telly to see Stuart Barlow (yes really) wheeling away in delight having netted a late winner for Tranmere.
I didn't believe it was real for a while but like so many football related things over the years, yes it absolutely fucking was!

The old story, 'the bookies know best'.

I didn't think it was great odds either, still wish I'd done it obviously, draw was 4/1 and I think Luton 2/7.

Incredible last ten minutes there.
Inter are blowing this. I’d have them to make the final again if they get through but they’ve just stopped playing after the first goal.
