The game has definitely gone like. For me that would be paying £1,200 for a worse experience. Mind you, it's probably not aimed at Evertonians.

Definitely not for your “normal” everton fan but you could hardly build a world class stadium nowadays without such facilities, the U.S./Chinese/Middle Eastern/Japanese Premier League tourists will be the main market for this. Once the mega star concerts start here then there will definitely be a need/demand for this, one seat sold here equals say 24 at an average of £50 in the North Stand.

not that much demand for them considering they're empty every single game in the very first season of being open.

Maybe if we start winning leagues somehow

Yeah, that was my thoughts. It's the whole corporate thing with football these days and maybe with our lack of success over the years it means demand isn't that high but we always struggled to fill the 8 or 9 boxes at Goodison and I know that Pickford and Coleman had one each and I still don't think they sold them all out so filling more at HDS was always going to be hard and I wouldn't be surprised if some players own a box or two there as well.

It's more how it looks, you don't see it so much on TV but that whole corporate section in the West Stand looks terrible, the big comfy seats were half empty and are way in front of the actual boxes and there's an awful, empty, grey concourse area in between them, not quite as bad as West Ham's ground but it's still a big old space. I don't recall many stadiums with so much concrete showing around the ground, I know they painted the middle section of the south stand but it feels like they could do to paint a lot more of it blue as well.

They should look at heavily discounting them or giving them to good causes on the day of the game if they aren’t selling to at least fill them

This will ruin the commercial proposition forever.

If there is no demand and they are unable to generate that demand, for £1000+ seats in one of the poorest cities in a declining country gripped by a cost of living crisis, they will eventually have to rip out and start again.

Which I would probably support. Seems like a really odd choice by meis/ the club to try this to be honest. Waste of time and space imo.

Are we talking about boxes here or Premium seats ? I thought that all the boxes had been sold ?

I think a fair amount of corporate seats that are empty have actually been sold. Just no-show, or sat in the pub/restaurant.

I understand we are yet to have a sell out at BMD.

Everton should have wrote something in the contracts along the lines of "If tickets remain unsold 24 hours prior to kick off, tickets will be returned and sold on Everton's resale platform"

Obviously sold as a normal ticket without all the food nonsense and that.

The only time all these seats sell out is when the Sky6 come to town and given they are scattered around the ground and will be hiked up prices then it'll be interesting to see how that works out. Can't imagine a bunch of reds in the home stands is going to go down well.

These external premium companies will take much fewer tickets for the next contract.

Yet the average person cant get tickets in the ballot after forking out 60 quid for some bullshit membership 😂

That’s all kinds of wrong

Maybe they should introduce a scheme that if you’re unsuccessful a certain number of times you get your £60 back or at least part of it

My Chemical Romance looking like they're adding an Anfield gig to their Wembley and Glasgow shows next year.

Be pretty "Everton" to not realise they need to be quite proactive and early to bag the big names for concerts next summer wouldn't it? (Much like the last game at Goodison!)

Depends on when the date is and if the stadium is available

"Bands" book the venue, not the other way round, so maybe it didn't fit in?
