Auckland City FC are maybe the 30th (?) best team in Oceania (as Australia and at least two better New Zealand teams are registered in the Asian region) which is a bit crazy.

10-0 is quite a pasting though.

I've put the game on as I'm working and I like some background noise that I don't care about...and this does fit that criteria.

The attendance though, what were they thinking? How is this tournament able to give the winners so much money?

I've enjoyed the games I've watched... it is a farce though.

I hadn't factored in games being played at 2am every day next summer. That's going to take some planning around.

I know the opposition were terrible, but Delap already looks miles better than Jackson in Chelsea's side. I expect he'll do well next season.

There is something interesting about watching teams like Boca, Flamengo or Palmeiras etc that I'd likely not otherwise.

It is a joke of a format at times, but it's not without positives.

The concept of it is fine, good even.

It's what it represents, the reason for its being and what's coming in the future which is the issue.

The beautiful game is a bit poisoned isn't it.

Maybe another global entity can unpick the cancerous grip FIFA have on the game. :?

It's on a week day during the day, people are working. Oh, and a game featuring LAFC, maybe play that at the Rose Bowl instead of in Atlanta?
