indeed he was as were the rest of them.
When the draw was made the media were wetting themselves at the prospect of the dream final man utd v spurs with their fluid attacking players.
Didn't quite work out for them in the end

I've a soft spot for Monday night games. I grew up in the era of only the cup final internationals on live TV so when sky came along and put 3 league games a week on I loved it.
Going to work on a Monday with a meaningful game to look forward to in the evening was great. Especially if we weren't involved.
I appreciate it's diminished in the last few years with European football on most of the week but I much prefer domestic games to Europe.

Think we're beating these for some reason... probably blind faith or delusional thinking 🤔

Agree - don’t be suprised to see three points and us up to 12th!

Can't call it tbh. I think if we line up the same way we have been then we'll probably lose.

Yeah the 'depression' is starting to kick in with me over Everton again now. I just don't see how we score goals.

Can't be bothered watching another match of KDH doing nothing in the number 10, JOB and Mykolenko offering nothing from the fullback areas and Beto/Barry waiting to be subbed off for the other.

This made me feel dark and cold inside. Hope Moyes mixes things up tonight.

Would still be four points away from the bottom three so way too early for a relegation thread.

Have some bottle for once lads ffs

I hope at the very least he plays Garner at RB allowing Röhl to start.

Time to see what he's got.

Fully expecting any misplaced optimism to be gone by about the 15 minute mark and for a grim slog from that point onwards.
