Decent draw that, if that isn't motivation to get through nothing will be.

Not sure it makes that much difference in the world of footballers. Tarkowski was saying on Ben Foster's podcast that the early rounds of the cup are just treated as a league match and you only tend to think of a cup run when it's at the latter stages.
Which is amusing because when the interviewer asked him if the team were excited about making a run in the cup before the Palace match, he said of course they are and all the lads see this as a great opportunity to make a cup run

I think we get a draw like Newport or Eastleigh at home in the next round, so that it hurts even more when Palace get a late winner in the replay.
One ball later and it would have been!

11.45am will suit the Police if it does end up a Black Country derby but if Brentford win the replay imagine the away following for that and the absolute thrill for the casual audience of West Brom v Brentford.

Liverpool v (if they win the replay) Norwich is an appalling pick too. It's not like it's a novelty day out for Norwich. They have played there numerous times and recently in the PL and they have close on no chance of pulling off an upset. At least Eastleigh or Newport hosting United has a bit of romance to it.
