It’s going to be far more than we should be paying, hopefully he is significantly better than he was last season.

For me they either get the big fee up front or a lower fee with a sell on. They are not getting both.

If both is what it takes then we should walk away.

Yeah we can't pay through the nose for his potential and then have them cover themselves with 25% of future profits too.

Looks like this is happening - seen quite a bit of him last year and he’s a great player already, despite being 18/9

Shouldn't be overpaying for potential. We aren't in any desperate need for what he currently does and if Newcastle are after him and he wants to go there us offering silly money to Southampton won't change that
