Been very good this season, brilliant today and unlucky not to score. Looks like the contract wasn’t that bad an idea after all
You can't say that last bit on here mate, you'll be branded a Keane sympathiser!!!

Time for review will be later in the season as the sample size is still pretty low, but I think we can say so far under Moyes it's fair to say he's played well enough compared to the Dyche days that he's earning back some benefit of the doubt...and I think in fairness to most in here I think we see that in the matchday thread as there is not an automatic stream of negativity if he's in the starting XI before the game.
Small steps. Let's see where things are later in the season.

He will phase out for Branthwaite but it's nice that it currently doesn't feel like we need to rush it.
Love a Keane crossfield ball

He’s been very good, fair play.

It's just not fair how much I want this to happen

Thr fact he's been so solid for 4 games makes next week even more worrying. I know thats not fair on the lad, but we are where we are.

Lets come back and judge in December. He's been here nearly a decade and not been good, shouldn't be praised for playing well 4 matches in a row.

No-one’s saying he’s been good for ten years but to say he shouldn’t be praised for playing well for four games (plus the games at the end of last season) is bizarre.

Not really, he could easily go and throw 2 shockers in the next couple of games and then the praise looks silly again. If he can put together several months of good performances then it's worth noting imo. Otherwise, nothing we haven't seen before.

I still love him, not even arsed. But yeah we know he's capable of great games it's whether he strings enough together. Just enjoying it tbh

Shouldn't criticise beto for being a bit shit. He could score next week.
Really you're just saying you don't like him. He's our 4th choice centre half and he's stepped in for our 1st choice and being really good. He absolutely should get praise. You'll be critical when he plays badly.

Of course I will, because that's Michael Keane. If people want to pretend he's turned a corner then fair play. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice/thrice/four times/fifty times... Shame on me.

To slag someone off when they make mistakes but not praise them when they play well seems bizarre to me
But it’d be boring if we all had the same opinion.

I just think the bar should be a lot higher for Keane, that's all. Tarkowski could put 10 solid performances in a row and nobody would mention it.
