The new start for the NSNO Everton forums

Behind the curve certainly but he still got West Ham 6th and 7th recently and won a European trophy so clearly not a has been. Most importantly he did that with a team he built / rebuilt which we are about to transition in to doing.TheRam wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 3:42 pm What he did here is completely irrelevant.
It was a different game back then.
I personally think we’re hiring yet another manager who’s behind the curve but think he’ll probably improve us just enough to stay up.
I certainly don’t think he’s going to move us forward and don’t think even midtable mediocrity is a guarantee with this version of David Moyes but we’ll see.
Feel very meh about the whole thing but he’s probably the best we can get at the moment now potter is off the table.

Duncan Ferguson is free isn't he?

The length of contract is being discussed but the expectation is that it will cover the remainder of this season and Everton’s first year at their new Bramley-Moore dock stadium in 2025-26.
That'd be perfect really, up to him then to earn an extension rather than us being tied to him for longer.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 6:10 pm Andy Hunter saying it's likely to be sorted within 24 hours and that it's likely to be an 18 month deal -
