Happy for him to move on as soon as the owners are here.
The only reason to keep him was for short term stability and I worry we’re not going to get that.
I’ve seen us start seasons like this before and things usually get worse before they get better.
Last season we started poorly but we had the performances to fall back on.
The performances just aren’t there.
We’ve won two games, against two teams currently in the bottom three.
We’ve blown two 2-0 leads, one with five minutes to go.
His decisions have been baffling.
From not starting ndyaie at the start of the season, dropping mangala when he was playing well, not bringing branthwaite back in and many more strange decisions.
And the footy has been terrible. Playing a high line whilst not pressing at all, and constant long ball with no desire to try and move the football.
This team is capable of so much better.

I get what you're saying mate but to play the same tactics of concede possession is getting no results. We get giddy over corners when the outcome is either over hit or they clear it. He's been sussed and still can't do anything differently. Letting teams build up play, their confidence and get into their stride is killing us. I'm not saying panic sack but December could see us bottom three

Yeah I hear you mate, and I certainly won't be upset if he gets binned in December..

I've pretty much backed him from the start.
I've called him out on times when i felt it was needed, but generally i have supported him.
I will always be grateful to him for keeping us up in his first season after the shambolic mess Lampard left, even having to play the last must win game against bournemouth without a striker and fullbacks.
He deserves a huge amount of credit and gratitude for that.
Even after the 2 points deductions last season he kept us up with relative ease in the end.
So i was really hoping that this season would be just a straight forward mid table cruise where he could go to the end until we get to bm thank him for all he's done and make a change.
However now i'm ready for him to go.
It's obviously not going to happen before the takeover is rubber stamped, but the change is needed

In terms of if this group of players can play better football.
Of course they can.
You can see by the way we play what we focus on in training.
Set pieces, defensive shape (which isn’t even that good), running, and getting crosses in.
If you’re not drilling patterns of play, or training enough with the ball, players are going to be sloppy on match day.
Look at that midfield we had today.
Mangala, Gana, McNeil, ndyaie, lindstrom.
That’s a good midfield full of good footballers. Nobody can tell me that can’t use the ball better than they apparently did today (I didn’t watch)
It’s clear to me there isn’t enough emphasis on how we play with the ball, and if that isn’t being coached and you’re running your players into the ground then yeah, players will be sloppy on the ball.

If we lose to Wolves, or even draw really then he's put himself in a pretty terrible position with the following fixtures. Needed to get that win today and maybe even one next weekend because the timing of the new owners coming in and the January transfer window might coincide with us being in the bottom 3.
I think if that happens we'll replace him and it'd be hard to argue against it if we are in the relegation zone in December or Jan.

Young told us what the game plan was against Fulham. I saw the same today. If it wasn't true he'd be told to shut up, so we assume it's the game plan which is fucking criminal against teams we need to beat

Nah we'll be fine. He's shown he knows how to cobble together enough percentages to be comfortably safe repeatedly and there are some dire teams who won't pick up much.
It's just tedious waiting for us to get to the fresh start bit.
Wish I shared your optimism. Struggling to see where we get enough points to keep us away from 18th

I think keeping him or not will depend on whether we have anything to spend in January. If we have no money we'll let him continue and hope for something similar to last season.
I thought I hit rock bottom years ago when I stopped taking notice of tables, other results and found our games unrecognisable from the way even top eight teams approached games.
At the moment I'm more concerned about the shite winning the league than hoping we do anything other than stay up.

Simply can’t defend this turgid negative approach and it’s getting us nowhere.
I actually think we are now looking more in danger of the drop this season. In that context he is running out of road and quickly.
The logical thing is to let him struggle through to the end of the season and have a reset under the new owners in a new stadium with a largely different squad but the real danger now is that we haven’t got enough about us to get to 37 or 38 pts.

Putting Keane up front is also extremely embarrassing

Taking Lindstrom off to put Keane up front

Who knows what might've happened if Branthwaite played, but neither Tarks or Keane played bad, they didn't create anything, it was pretty comfortable fit most of the game, despite them having all the ball

I honestly don't care. Neither of them can lace branthwaites boots, and Michael Keane is very possibly finished at this level when his contract is up.
You don't not play a £60m CB. You don't not play your best player by a country mile.
